EMISSION TEST
In this portion of the Test your vehicle is placed on a Special piece of equipment that simulates road driving at various speeds. Our machine then reads the exhaust gases created by your vehicle and compares it to the state allowable limits to verify its running condition and if it runs OK.

Many consumers do not know this but the CA Smog Test is actually Comprised of a few different forms of test that are run when your vehicle comes in to the Test Station. When Smogged correctly this ensures that our cars are running in good order and not polluting our environment.

OBD II COMPUTER TEST
The second portion of the test has to do with the vehicles own computer system, our special computer system connects to your vehicles on board system and verifies that everything is in working order.

VEHICLE INSPECTION
After the other portions of the test are complete one of the last remaining steps for a Licensed Technician is to visually inspect the vehicle. Hoses, electrical connections and all associated Emissions components are also checked at this point as to what the state of California deems is necessary as well as how the manufacturer designed the Vehicle.

EVAP TEST
The Evap Test as it is know, is a specialty test designed for 1995 and older Vehicles. In this test a separate machine is connected to your gas tank and tested for leaks withing the tank and surrounding system.
